The Applesauce Inn Bed and Breakfast in Bellaire is offering an experience that is taking you across the pond– vintage high tea! This winter, you can enjoy an afternoon tea on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-2:30 pm until April.
Jamie Creason, the owner of the bed and breakfast is known for her iconic treats. “It was a way for me to showcase my food to a lot of local people. Everyone wants to taste my food so this was a different way to offer an option for folks to come and get it locally and it started with holiday events,” explains Creason.
With the tea, you are encouraged to come hungry. Creason says, “The scones are homemade with blackberry and a scone is a different kind of biscuit. They’re on the dry side and not as moist as a biscuit.”
